NEW EDITION
The 3rd edition, described here, has been available for several years but is still selling quite well. It can be ordered by downloading the order form below or contacting the website given on the order form. You can read here the contents, introduction and first chapter. Note that what appears to be very ordinary concrete illustrated on the front cover is in fact geopolymer concrete, containing no Portland cement whatever.
A further edition is contemplated but will not be available until the end of 2011 at the earliest. It is anticipated that QC will not be greatly changed but that mix design will be substantially changed to incorporate self compacting concrete and the treatment and importance of cement replacement materials which now invalidate the concepts of W/C ratio and aggregate grading curves for mix design. Geopolymer concrete will also be accorded higher importance.
